Data inspired, Principal Alahrie Aziz-Sims is entering the 10th year of her principalship at Bogan High School.  Big on systems thinking, Principal Sims has worked to develop systems that incorporate and reflect the IB philosophies and practices.  A strong believer in public education, Principal Sims works to be a trailblazer in taking different approaches to student success and learning.  Bogan High School has demonstrated a complete transformation in culture and climate becoming one of the first CPS school designated as a Supportive School, was the first CPS 1:1 high school, revamped the IB Diploma Programme to earn the school's first diplomas and continuous issuance of IB certificates, and quadrupled the percentage of students receiving post-secondary credentials at her school through innovative partnerships with the local community college, Daley.  Principal Sims is passionate about data and data interpretation and its impact on policy development and school evaluation.  She also loves talking about curriculum and assessment and re-visioning what schools can and should look like to create positive, learning experiences for students.
